About Us
Community Access and Services SA is a not-for-profit organisation, helping hundreds of culturally and linguistically diverse people in the northern and western regions of Adelaide. As the service arm of The Vietnamese Community in Australia/SA Chapter Inc., Community Access and Services SA have a long and proud history of supporting our community.
We have a wide range of programs and support across aged care, addiction services, community participation, the NDIS, mental health, youth, community education and maintaining cultural connections through festivals and events.
Our bilingual and bicultural staff are very helpful and friendly and experienced at working alongside our clients to achieve their goals. Our staff speak a variety of languages besides English. These include: Dari, Farsi, French, Kirundi, Nepali and Vietnamese.
The Vietnamese Community in Australia/SA Chapter Inc. was established in 1978 in South Australia with the aim of providing settlement services to Vietnamese people escaping the aftermath of the Vietnamese War. Since then, our organisation has grown, providing services to people from many culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
The organisation offers the following specialised services:
- Social services through Community Access & Services SA
- Vietnamese Ethnic School, Vacation Care and Cultural Festivals through The Vietnamese Community in Australia / SA Chapter Inc.
- A Community Hall available for functions and activities
