We are currently seeking for volunteers for different programs at Community Access and Services SA: Aged care program, property maintenance; Vietnamese Community Kitchent. Please refer to the details as follows:
- Property maintenance
Facility section is seeking for volunteers to assist with the maintenance and care of our property. Our offices are located on Athol St in Athol Park and Woodville. Ideally, each volunteer could contribute between 5 and maximum 15 hours per week.
The main duties of these volunteers include, but are not limited to:
- Watering plants/trees/flowers
- Picking up rubbish around the yard/parking (to ensure there is no sharp objects that can cause damage car tyres)
- Performing small repairs that doesn’t require certificates or a white card.
- Assisting the Facility manager with setting up chairs and tables in the Hall before the events and removing them afterward.
- Some small work needs to be done at Woodville Office (once month)
- Washing two vans every 3 months
- Assisting to solve urgent problems as they arise.
Requirements:
- Police check, Covid vaccination, flu vaccination (valid within 1 year)
- Physical fitness, including the ability to climb the ladders or lift heavy items.
- Proficiency in English and/or Vietnamese
- Aged care program: The Aged Care Services Outreach Volunteer will support CAASSA’s efforts to raise awareness of aged care services within Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities. The volunteer will play a vital role in reaching out to these communities to ensure older adults and their families have access to relevant information and services.
The main duties of these volunteers include, but are not limited to: please refer to the attached Group Activities Volunteer, Transport Volunteer, Community Bus Driver, Kitchen Hand Assitant
Requirements:
- Police check (CAASSA can pay for this cost)
- Covid vaccination, flu vaccination (valid within 1 year)
- Communicate well in Vietnamese to support Vietnamese Aged Care Clients.
- Vietnamese Community Kitchen (Quán Phở Cộng Đồng)
Vietnamese Community Kitchen is seeking for volunteers for the position of Front of House (FOH) servers and kitchen hands.
Requirements:
- Police check (CAASSA can pay for this cost)
- Basic level of English and/or Vietnamese

Community Access and Services SA (CAASSA) is currently seeking volunteers to support several of our programs. If you are passionate about giving back to the community and would like to make a difference, we invite you to join us in the following roles:

Requirements:

- Physically fit and able to climb ladders or lift heavy items
- Proficiency in English and/or Vietnamese
2. Aged Care Program Volunteers
As part of our outreach, volunteers will help raise awareness of aged care services within Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities, ensuring older adults and their families can access the support they need.
Volunteer roles include Group Activities Volunteer, Transport Volunteer, Community Bus Driver, Kitchen Hand Assistant.
Requirements:
- Police check (covered by CAASSA)
- COVID vaccination and flu vaccination (within the last 12 months)
- Ability to communicate in Vietnamese to support Vietnamese Aged Care clients
3. Vietnamese Community Kitchen
We are seeking volunteers to join our community kitchen team as Front of House (FOH) servers and kitchen hands.

- Basic English and/or Vietnamese

- Nhặt rác trong sân và bãi đậu xe (để tránh vật nhọn gây hư hỏng lốp xe)

- Hỗ trợ Quản lý Cơ sở sắp xếp và dọn dẹp bàn ghế cho sự kiện tại Hội trường
- Một số công việc nhỏ tại Văn phòng Woodville (1 lần/tháng)
- Rửa 2 chiếc xe van (mỗi 3 tháng/lần)
- Hỗ trợ xử lý các vấn đề khẩn cấp khi phát sinh
Yêu cầu:

- Sức khỏe tốt, có thể leo thang hoặc mang vác vật nặng

2. Tình nguyện viên Chương trình Chăm sóc Người cao tuổi
Các tình nguyện viên sẽ hỗ trợ nâng cao nhận thức về dịch vụ chăm sóc người cao tuổi trong cộng đồng đa văn hóa (CALD), giúp người cao tuổi và gia đình họ tiếp cận được thông tin và dịch vụ phù hợp.
Các vai trò tình nguyện gồm có: Tình nguyện viên Hoạt động nhóm, Tình nguyện viên Vận chuyển, Tài xế xe van cộng đồng, Phụ bếp.
Yêu cầu:
- Police check (Văn Phòng Phúc Lợi sẽ chi trả chi phí)
- Tiêm ngừa COVID và cúm (trong vòng 12 tháng)
- Giao tiếp tốt bằng tiếng Việt để hỗ trợ khách hàng cao tuổi người Việt
3. Quán Phở Cộng Đồng
Chúng tôi đang tìm tình nguyện viên tham gia hỗ trợ tại Quán Phở Cộng Đồng vào thứ 7 và Chủ Nhật với các vị trí phục vụ (FOH) và phụ bếp.
Yêu cầu:
- Police check (Văn Phòng Phúc Lợi sẽ chi trả chi phí)
- Trình độ cơ bản tiếng Anh và/hoặc tiếng Việt
