Aged Care
Staying independent as you age is important.
If daily tasks are becoming more difficult, you’re not alone — and it’s okay to ask for support. Our aged care services are designed to help you continue living safely and comfortably in your own home, so you can maintain control over your life and make the choices that matter most to you.
Our Services
Community Access and Services SA’s (CAASSA) Aged Care service is funded by the Australian Federal Government Department of Health, Disability, and Ageing under the Commonwealth Home Support Program ‘(CHSP)’.
CAASSA’s Aged Care services aim to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services to care recipients, who wish to remain living at home for as long as possible.
We have a dedicated and experienced team of staff and volunteers who are passionate about supporting their community. We show strong commitment and empathy in providing our clients with friendly, efficient, non-discriminatory, and respectful care.
Who can access our services?
Our Aged Care services are available to older Culturally and Linguistically Diverse people and their carers, who:
Are over the age of 65; and/or
Have been diagnosed with dementia
To receive CAASSA Aged Care services, you must register online with My Aged Care. You can then request a referral to CAASSA through My Aged Care.
How much do our services cost?
You will normally be asked to pay for the cost of materials and contributions towards services we provide, depending on your income test and the type of services you need.
